Phishing and Fraud

J.G. Charisis Pharmaceutical Ventures S.M.P.C. (the “Company”), trading as J.G. Charisis & Company, is not an investment company; as such, any communication claiming to be from the Company that solicits money or offers an investment opportunity is fraudulent.

Also, be aware that the Company does not:

• Supply any pharmaceutical products directly to patients
• Manufacture, store or physically distribute any products
• Offer any type of personal brokerage or trading accounts for individuals

While we maintain robust cybersecurity measures, cyber criminals may seek to misuse the Company’s name, brand and intellectual property, to publish fake news; launch illegitimate marketing campaigns; or engage in other fraudulent schemes to deceive, misinform, or otherwise cause harm to individuals and businesses. Perpetrators may pose as the Company’s employees, or the Company’s affiliates, and send emails or make phone calls to extract personal data that can be manipulated for the use of financial crimes. These scams are complex as the perpetrators may replicate proprietary documentation, and/or illegally use the Company’s intellectual property in an attempt to appear legitimate.

To help improve awareness and knowledge, we offer the following information on the Company’s approved channels of communication, as well as guidance to protect yourself from falling victim to phishing and fraud.

Approved Channels of Communication

The Company only sends e-mails from ‘charisisandco.com’

Authorized internet domains include:

•  charisis.co.uk

Cold Calling: The Company does not engage in cold calling. If the Company has to call you, it will be after the Company has made an initial attempt to communicate with you in writing via the approved channels of communication.

Social Media Postings: The Company does not use social media and does not own any social media accounts. Informational postings might be issued from time-to-time on the Company’s website only.

Job Postings: The Company does not post any job openings on LinkedIn or any other public platform. 

Payments: The Company will never ask you to make a payment via an email link, by card, social media, online payment platforms, including, but not limited to, Paypal, or over the phone. The Company sends payment requests to its clients directly via the approved channels of communication. The Company does not use third parties to collect payments on its behalf.

PLEASE NOTE: The Company does not conduct any business over any chat or social media platforms, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Telegram, WeChat, or WhatsApp, or any other public platform.

If you wish to verify whether a communication is from the Company, please contact us. We also encourage anyone affected by, or suspicious of a scam or fraud, to contact their local authorities.
