J.G. Charisis Pharmaceutical Ventures S.M.P.C. (the “Company”) is the data controller in respect of your personal data. 

Personal data is all information that can be used to identify you or is linked to you directly or indirectly, which the Company has in its possession or control. 

The Company is responsible for ensuring that it collects and processes your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable European data protection laws.

The Company collects and processes information that you or someone acting on your behalf provides to the Company. If you are a prospective client of the Company, this also includes personal data that is provided to the Company by you, your employer, your affiliates or your business partners in connection with your interest in the Company’s services. 

The Company collects information that you give the Company when communicating with the Company face-to-face, by phone, by e-mail or otherwise. 

The Company’s website does not utilise cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, or similar tracking technologies to collect or process personal data. 

Use of personal data

Personal data may be stored and processed by the Company based on the Company’s legitimate interest to respond to your enquiries, communicate effectively with you and deliver the Company’s services. The Company ensures that this processing is necessary, proportionate, limited to what is required for these purposes, and does not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.

Appropriate technical and organisational measures are implemented to safeguard your data. 

Disclosure of personal data to third parties

The Company may disclose personal data to its affiliates for the purpose of performing its obligations in connection with your contract or the contract of a client/supplier with whom you are connected.

Where personal data is disclosed to its affiliates, the Company will take steps to ensure that the personal data is accessed only by those persons who need to do so for the purposes described herein.

The Company will not disclose the personal data to any third parties other than its affiliates.

Transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA)

Personal data may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the EEA.

Where the Company transfers personal data outside the EEA, the Company will ensure that it is protected in a manner that is compliant with applicable data protection laws.

The Company stores personal data only as long as necessary to accomplish the business purposes for which it was collected. 

Rights in relation to personal data

You have the right to request information about the personal data that the Company holds about you, including information about how the Company uses your personal data, who has access to it, and the terms under which the Company’s affiliates have access to it.

You have the right to request that the Company ceases processing or restrict or limit the processing of your personal data.

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr), if you think that any of your rights have been infringed by the Company.
